Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 August 2026

This notice explains how personal data submitted through the contact form on The Intimate Wedding website are processed, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. Data controller

The data controller is The Intimate Wedding, contactable at theintimateweddingitaly@gmail.com.

2. Data collected

We collect the information you voluntarily enter in the form: name, email address, preferred wedding date, desired location and the content of your message. Technical data strictly necessary to transmit and protect the request may also be processed.

3. Purpose and legal basis

Your data are used exclusively to reply to your request, provide the complimentary consultation and take any pre-contractual steps requested by you. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request and, where applicable, your consent. Data will not be used for marketing without separate consent.

4. Processing and recipients

Data are processed using appropriate organisational and technical measures. Form submissions are transmitted through FormSubmit and delivered to our email service. Data may be accessed by authorised personnel and service providers acting under applicable data-protection obligations. They are not sold or disclosed for unrelated purposes.

5. Retention

Data are kept only for the time necessary to manage and follow up your request and, if a professional relationship begins, for the periods required by applicable legal and contractual obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to a relationship are normally deleted within 24 months, unless a shorter period is requested or retention is required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

6. International transfers

Some technical service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, transfers are made in accordance with the GDPR using an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing, portability where applicable, or object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.

8. How to exercise your rights

Send your request to theintimateweddingitaly@gmail.com. We may ask for information necessary to verify your identity and will respond within the time limits established by the GDPR.

9. Mandatory information

The fields marked as required and acceptance of this notice are necessary to send the request. Without them, we cannot receive or answer the enquiry.
